Your pet’s dental health
Good dental health is vital for your pet’s health, and wellbeing. Dental disease is very common in dogs, cats and rabbits. It can cause halitosis (bad breath), difficulty eating, gum infections which can lead to abscess formation, and eventually bone loss and tooth loss. Dental disease can also have systemic implications and lead to poor general health and even liver, kidney and heart disease.
When it comes to pet health, prevention is better than cure. Dental checks will be carried out during routine checks at HFH and we are able to offer a range of products and diets, as well as providing advice on their correct use to help keep your pet’s dental health at the best possible level throughout life.
Dental treatment is a routine part of our work at HFH and our Vets will be able offer you advice on what treatment, if any, your pet may need.
